What is 404?

if the web page of you website is broken,changed or deleted then the link of that particular page will also be broken and hence it shows you a 404 error so this is particularly very important to check you web pages every week or month weather its good or you website has this error on any page.

Why 404?

404 is actually a code like if the web page is not available then this special code indicates that the web page location is changed or removed actually its like a simple message that the web page is been removed or changed.

Actually this is also a problem of location as well like if you website has a specific domain name like "www.example.com/new/old/"and you changed the location or permalink of that specific web page and tge user know the first link that you changed then the user will find that error that is 404 not found.

The change of permalink cause the 404 error and also the change of domain name and neglecting the other domain also cause 404 error.

Solution of 404 error?

When anybody changes the location or links of a website or just completely changes the whole web pages there will be a lot of problem for him because if you are doing such things and if the old permalinks of your website is ranked in google then the user will find 404 error and you will get no traffic as well and the web url also de rank.

The first solution is that if you changes some permalink then just google "broken links finder" and open a specific website and scan your site there and find the link and change them to new one that you modify.

On the other hand if you changed the whole site and you domain is ranked then just redirect your old link to the new one so that you can get your traffic that this will does'nt work enough for you.
